There are several benefits in choosing a Non Geographic Number (NGN). 

Some of these benefits are dependent on the number type you opt for. NGNs are not assigned to a specific location and can ‘move’ with you. 

These numbers can be forwarded to any telephone number as long as you have the feature to allow this. The costs for your customers to call you are dependent on the number prefix you have selected rather than the final destination.
