Setting up a Google Ads integration allows you to send call data from Calltracks into your Google Ads account giving you further insight into how your campaigns are performing.
In order for your integration to be initialised raise a ticket here to request Google Ads integration and providing us with the website url to be integrated.
Before completing the set up within Calltracks you will need to make sure you have auto tagging enabled in your Google Ads account.
Setting up your Google Ads Integration
Log into your Calltracks platform and go to;
Settings -> Integrations
Click -> 'Authenticate'
You will be directed to your accounts.google.com page and requested to select an account. This needs to be the account for the website that is integrating with Calltracks.
Selecting the account will activate the authorisation screen for connecting with Calltracks.
Select 'allow'
Back in 'Integrations' in the Calltracks platform;
Click 'Load available accounts'
For the drop down select the the Google Ads account you wish Calltracks to push data for. This needs to be the same account that is serving the ads on Google
In Google Ads the conversion action is set to 'Calltracks Call Ads'
If after 24 hours you have any issues seeing the conversion action in Google Ads please get in touch with us so we can investigate further.
